Welcome to TixGate! This guide will walk you through setting up your attraction and accepting your first bookings.
Step 1: Create Your Account
After signing up, you'll be taken to your dashboard. Here's what you'll see:
- Overview: Your booking statistics at a glance
- Products: Your tickets and experiences
- Bookings: All reservations
- Settings: Account and attraction configuration
Step 2: Set Up Your Attraction
Navigate to Settings > Attraction Details and fill in:
Basic Information
- Attraction name
- Description
- Address and contact details
- Operating hours
Media
- Upload your logo
- Add gallery images
- Set a cover photo
Step 3: Create Your First Product
Products are the tickets or experiences you sell. Go to Products > Create New:
Product Details
- Name: e.g., "Adult Admission"
- Description: What's included
- Price: Set your base price
- Capacity: How many can you accommodate per time slot?
Time Slots
Configure when visitors can book:
- Set available days
- Define time slot duration
- Set capacity per slot
Step 4: Configure Your Checkout
Customize the booking experience in Settings > Checkout:
- Add your branding
- Configure required fields
- Set up confirmation emails
- Enable multi-language support
Step 5: Embed Your Booking Widget
Get your booking widget code from Settings > Integrations:

Before going live:
- Make a test booking
- Check the confirmation email
- Try the ticket scanning
- Process a test refund
Going Live
Once you're happy with your setup:
- Switch to live mode in Settings
- Connect your payment processor
- Announce your online booking option!
