Terms of Service
Effective: 1 June 2026
The TixGate website and services are owned and provided by DiNG.hu Kft ("DiNG", "we", "us"). These Terms govern your access to and use of TixGate. By using the service you agree to these Terms.
1. Who We Are
TixGate is owned and operated by DiNG.hu Kft, 1053 Budapest, Veres Pálné utca 14., Hungary. Company registration no. 01-09-942224, tax no. 22757865-2-41. References to "TixGate", "we" or "us" mean DiNG.hu Kft.
2. Eligibility & Acceptance
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. By creating an account or using the service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
3. The Service
TixGate is a booking and ticketing platform that lets tour operators and attractions ("Operators") sell tickets, vouchers and bookings, and lets customers purchase them. We provide the platform; Operators are responsible for the tours, tickets and experiences they offer.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.
5. Bookings, Tickets & Payments
Payments are processed via Stripe Connect. For most sales the Operator is the merchant of record and seller; DiNG provides the platform and charges a platform fee. Prices, availability, taxes and refund/cancellation terms are set by the Operator and shown at checkout. Tickets and vouchers are subject to the Operator's conditions.
6. Operator Responsibilities
Operators are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, fulfilling bookings, complying with applicable law (consumer, tax, safety), handling their customers' data as controllers, and honouring their stated refund/cancellation policies.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service, including: unlawful activity, fraud, infringing others' rights, uploading malware, scraping, or attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the platform.
8. Intellectual Property
TixGate, its software, and brand are owned by DiNG and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. You retain rights to content you upload and grant us a licence to host and display it to operate the service.
9. Third-Party Services
The service integrates third parties (e.g. Stripe, distribution channels). Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing limits rights that cannot be excluded under Hungarian or EU consumer law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DiNG is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of Operators or third parties. Our aggregate liability is limited to the platform fees you paid to DiNG in the 12 months preceding the claim. Mandatory statutory liability is unaffected.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify DiNG against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your use of the service.
13. Term & Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach or to comply with law. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, excluding conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Hungary have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that grant you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes take effect on the new effective date posted here. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
